A Metal Storage Building provides necessary protection to your farm storage against the elements. It also allows for easy and quick access. The thing Carolina metal barns offer that the traditional pole barns don't is the structural strength, aesthetics, and more.
Our metal barn is incredibly durable and can last years without high maintenance, which is not right for the wooden pole barns. This metal barn is available in the dimension of 42'W x 26'L x 12'H, but you can always customize these dimensions if it's not exactly what you need.
Features of 42 x 26 Metal Storage Building
Like most of our other Carolina metal buildings, this Metal Storage Building also has three distinct sections. The main section of the barn, which is taller than the lean-tos, has a total dimension of 18'W x 26'L x 12'H. As such, you will have no difficulty in housing large vehicles and heavy-duty equipment inside this section of the barn.
The central aisle is wholly enclosed with horizontal metal barn sidings and is provided with metal barn doors frame-outs. These frame-outs allow smooth access into the building. But more than that, they also give you the opportunity of adding custom metal barn doors or sliding metal barn.
Similarly, the two lean-tos on either side of the raised aisle are partially enclosed. The front and back ends of these sections are gabled. The sides of the lean-tos not attached to the central part are fully enclosed with horizontal metal barn sidings.
These lean-tos both have a dimension of 12'W x 26'L x 8'H and can comfortably accommodate smaller cars and more. Nonetheless, this prefab metal building is among our certified units, so they're guaranteed to withstand wind loads up to 140 MPH and snow loads up to 30 PSF.
