This metal barn comes with a total dimension of 48’W x 26’L x 12’H. As such, this metal barn is perfect for sheltering all types of agricultural vehicle, equipment, and also feed storage.
Features of 48x26 Metal Carolina Barn Building
The A-framed roof of this specific metal barn features boxed eave roof with the roof overhangs and horizontal roof panels. For the record, the main advantage of the horizontal roof is its economics.
However, it does require more maintenance than a vertical roof. As an option, we also allow our customers to go for the vertical roof style for our Carolina metal barn buildings.
The raised central aisle of this prefab metal barn is provided with extended gables at the front and back ends. Extended gables protect your belongings even better than the gables and also help to refine the looks of the structure.
The sides of this section are only partially enclosed. The lean-tos, on the other hand, are fully enclosed with horizontal metal barn sidings on the ends and one of the two sides. However, the side that is attached to the main section is left open.
A total of two roll-up metal barn doors are available with this metal barn. We have installed them on the front end of each of the lean-tos. These metal barn doors allow smooth movement of vehicles and equipment in and out of the barn.
To ensure our customers of the strength of this Carolina barn, we have certified it against heavy weather loads. However, you can further strengthen the structure by upgrading the tubular framing. You can also enclose the entire prefab metal building with vertically oriented panels for the same purpose.
