Features and Upgrades for the 44x21 Farm Barn Building
We fabricate the tubular framing of our standard Carolina metal barn building kits with 14-gauge steel tubes. By upgrading to a 12-gauge frame, you can strengthen the metal barn further.
The main component of this custom metal barn that is responsible for protecting your valuables is the A-framed roof. The default boxed-eave roof comes with horizontal roof panels running the length of the metal barn.
However, you can also select the vertical roofs if you do not want to go through the trouble of cleaning the roof panels after heavy downpours or snowfalls.
The open design of the metal barn is created by the partially enclosed sides and ends of the metal barn. The 20'W x 21'L x 12'H central aisle has gables at both ends to increase the protection against the elements. The gables offer beautiful aesthetics which you can further enhance by decorating the gables with some metal barn stars.
The two 12'W x 21'L x 7' lean-tos also have gables at ends. But, in addition to that, they are also fully covered on one of the sides. Also, you can effectively store smaller cars, pickups, equipment, and other belongings under these lean-tos.
